Internship – Citta Consultancy welcomes Master degree level counseling interns to our agency, and values the talents and learning that interns can bring into our organization. We also believe in mentoring and empowering the next generation of leaders who would use the experiences they have at Citta to inform and enhance their counseling and community mental health work in their future endeavors. Citta understands internship as a social impact service which we can provide that not only further our reach to the communities and organizations we help, but also build sustainability and scale-ability in our mission as we contribute to developing the human resource capacity in the psychology and mental health sector in Myanmar. Principal Consultant Daw Su Su Maung, who is a licensed psychotherapist, provides one-on-one weekly to bi-weekly clinical supervision to the counseling intern. The intern also has the opportunity to participate in the in-house counselor training at Citta. Currently, Citta Consultancy is a go-to internship site for Myanmar students attending the Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at Assumption University in Thailand, and we have a long-term working relationship between Citta Consultancy and Assumption University. We welcome Master degree level counseling interns from other schools looking for a practicum site as well.
